Chet Nichols

  • Release 1972

This is a session I did for Chet Nichols. The album was recorded at the famous Wally Heider Studios in San Francisco. Nicky Hopkins played piano, Dave Garibaldi drums, and I played bass. This line-up only played on the title track.
I played many other sessions in San Francisco as well as LA during this period, including a band called “Bang” on Capitol Records, and a Tim Rose album on A&M Records…but soon returned to England to record “Smiler” for Rod Stewart and form a band with Martin Quittenton.
