Re-release of my “Watchfire” album on CD.
I was over at Jerry Garcia’s house on Palm in San Rafael around 1992 when he suggested Grateful Dead Merchandising (Records) put my CD out on their label.
Kid Candelerio was in the room and Jerry asked him to take care of it…Kid ran Merchandising back then.
That was also the day Jerry offered to help fund the human ights music video I was making about Guatemala. Grateful Dead Almanac published a story on the “Watchfire” album.
Jerry had a very generous heart. — with Mickey Hart and Jerry Garcia.
