Betty was married to the great Jazz trumpet player Miles Davies…although they were seperated at this time.
Betty’s albums have acquired almost cult like status amongst “Funk” lovers. She was an amazing person to work with, and an amazing vocalist…we were very good friends. I pray she is doing well wherever she is today. — with Larry Graham, Betty Davis and Merl Saunders.
